EC Offroad Adventures is run by Barto de Koning, Chris and Bernadette Meistre. All of us have a passion for the outdoors and testing our vehicles to their extreme capabilities when we go and drive as often as we can.

Barto has been doing this for 13 years, while Chris and Bernadette were bitten by the bug 2 years ago. Barto took them under his wing, and everything they know have been taught under Barto’s watchful and always willing-to-teach eye.

The countless amount of time we have spent on trails and “playing” with our vehicles have given us the oppurtunity to see places and things a lot of people will either not know about, or have the ability to go and explore.

Bernadette also realized her passion in life through being in the outdoors so often, photography. Getting to and photographing beautiful places other people would not get to see is what drives her to take excellent photographs.

That is why we wanted to start an offroad adventure company that will be able to organise events and show people the places in the beautiful Eastern Cape that they are missing out on.
