Having had the privilege to explore Eastern Cape the way we have, we came to the realization that a lot of people will not get to experience and see the remote and hidden-away places that we get to see. And it’s not that it is out-of-bounds, it’s just unknown, and some might think they will damage their vehicles.

We aim to organize events, that will not only be exciting, but will also teach you a bit about your vehicle and its capabilities, and most importantly, show you places in the Eastern Cape that few people venture to. There will be events that cater for beginners, novices and highly experienced drivers. These will all be very well organized and at all times the safety of you, your vehicle and the environment will be our main concern.

We also feel that there is a lot of untapped potential for the 4×4 related industries in the Eastern Cape and we aim, through our events, to bring the companies in the industry closer to their potential customers, and get them to stand together and build it up for the benefit of all involved.

All the people that help organise events for EC Offroad Adventures do so because they love being in nature and using their 4×4 vehicles for what they were made for - adventure!

Our plans for the future

With the new NOW legislation that will come into affect, there will be a requirement for all people going on a 4×4 trail to have a certified 4×4 guide with them or at least be a certified driver themselves.

Our plan is to go on a training course provided by the 4WDGA and obtain our certification as 4×4 guides. Once that is completed we will also be offering our services as guides on trails that you and your friends might like to do. More about that once we are certified!
